CHALLENGE
Tom’s Auto Tag & Notary Services and KD Smith Insurance are two local businesses under the same owner who serve clients in and around the Lehigh Valley. The two companies offer vehicle, driver’s license, and title transfer services, as well as various types of insurance to their clients.
Before Simply IT, both companies had individual, traditional, in-house phone systems that were no longer being supported by their existing phone company, and did not provide the capabilities the businesses needed. In addition, there was a need to devise a simple way to reduce the amount of inbound calls the businesses were receiving at once. They decided to start looking for more efficient phone solutions, and enlisted Simply IT to help.
SOLUTION
Simply IT provided both companies with VoIP systems, which gave the companies a more professional appearance. This system eliminated the amount of inbound calls by utilizing a voice operating system that directed the caller to the person they needed. Simply IT then installed wireless headsets, giving the employees the ability to answer calls from anywhere in the office.
Simply IT also implemented a mobile solution called Office Anywhere, which connected each office phone to the respective employee’s cellphone, allowing the employees to answer the phone from any location and increasing the company’s reliability.
